Nicki Minaj insults the Islam religion in her song ‘Beam Me Up Scotty’ where she mentioned “Assalamu Alaykum, where the f *** is akbar”. In Arabic, ‘Assalamu Alaykum’ means may peace be with you and ‘Allah akbar’ means that God is the greatest. However Nicki Changes ‘Allah’ with ‘f ***’ and shows rudeness and disregard toward the religion of Islam. Muslims feel disrespected and people from different religions debate on social networks about respecting one’s religion and are wondering how could the recording academy allow an artist to insult a religion?!!
