The Policeman's Blog live, I have just read one of the funniest and most depressing books: Wasting Police Time by the pseudonymous auther PC David Copperfield. Funny because of his delightful writing style and quick wit and depressing because of the picture he paints of modern British policing, the PC and bureaucratic idiocies I can see working their way through American departments in the next 20 years.  His book is culled from his blog, The Policeman's Blog, which I have added to the blogroll and which I highly recomm.
