Stagecoach 08: Friday fun for the whole family Rascal Flatts with Taylor Swift tickets, I'm gonna try to keep the folksy Dan Ratherisms to a minimum this weekend, PopWatchers, but yee-haw, it's Stagecoach! Coachella's country music cousin kicked off Friday by filling the polo fields with more straw hats than a barn full of upside-down camels, and once again, the transformation from youth-of-the-nation cesspool into family-friendly hootenanny took me a while to get used to. No more Outdoor Stage- hello, barbecue cookoff! No more pup tents- hello, NASCAR fans! The beer has swit.

Music Mondays (Issue #22) - Love and Theft I'm going to make today's post short and sweet.  I just wanted to take this Music Monday and highlight one of my new favorite up-and-coming bands.  Love and Theft is a small half-bluegrass, half-country band out of Nashville.  They recently just finished up touring with Taylor Swift with an enormous response. I originally heard about these guys through my good songwriter friend, Rob Blackledge (see Music Mondays Issue #12) when he was up here playing at Bradley with me.  Rob had been roommates.
