Glastonbury Festival Kicks Off Tomorrow If you thought Lollapalooza's lineup was ridiculous you haven't seen anything yet. Tomorrow, Glastonbury Festival will begin in Scotland and will carry through the weekend until Sunday, the 29th. The festival will showcase bands from all over the world on 6 different main stages, with 17 other smaller tents and stages for bands and DJs to perform at. Tickets are £155 (that?s about $300). Lollapalooza Schedule Revealed live, After releasing the incredible plethora of bands that this year's Lollapalooza will be showcasing, the three-day festival has finally released its day-to-day schedule. The shows, set on a number of different stages, will run August 1-3 in Chicago's Grant Park and cover just about every genre of music you could fathom. I actally think they did a very smart thing by putting no bands up against Radiohead. The idea of having the headliners without interference is a smart idea, but I do with they would have done that on the second and third evenings. Now folks have to decide between Nine Inch Nails or Kanye West and Wilco or Rage Against the Machine. Most conflicts seem to happen between the acts on the two main stages. I don't get .

The Raconteurs Finally Rock Cincinnati The Raconteurs with the Black Lips ticket broker, Tonight was my first opportunity to check out the brand new National City Pavillion adjacent to Riverbend. I wanna say ?adjacent? isn't really the word because the new venue is more like an unnaturally large extension of the existing facility. From a distance it looks like it was built way too close ? almost spitting distance ? to the Riverbend concessions area. But once inside it felt more like Riverbend's Clingy Little Brother. Review: The Raconteurs - National City Pavilion, Cincinnati It's been some time since I walked out on a headlining act, especially one as widely renowned as The Raconteurs. Despite their talents, forgive me if I just can't appreciate them. Give me Brendan Benson's The Alternative to Love as required daily listening and you won't once hear me plead for a listen to Consolers Of The Lonely, I suppose Broken Boy Soldiers would be a nice change of pace.
