Curlin to stand at Lane's End Farm next year Preakness Stakes Horse Racing / Rodeo Tickets, Reigning Horse of the Year Curlin will stand at stud next year at Lane's End, a Kentucky horse farm owned by a former U.S. ambassador to Britain. Will Farish announced Friday that the richest racehorse in North America will have a stud fee of $75,000 in his first year as a stallion. That is $10,000 more than the fee being charged for Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner Big Brown.
