Parton my caution 9 to 5 (Matinee) Tickets, It's been years, maybe decades, since I've seen the 1980 comedy 9 to 5, about three working women who turn the tables on their odious boss. But I remember enough to know that it was smart and hilarious, with great performances from Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton. They made the movie memorable. Of course I'm excited that the musical version, with songs by Parton, starts previews at Broadway's Marquis Theatre on March 24. I'm excited about every Broadway show, even the ones I know.

Life Without iPod: Day 4 Cheap 9 to 5 (Matinee) Tickets, On Sunday, after we returned from Puerto Vallarta, I did some laundry.  Then, after putting a load in, I started to do some writing, which required headphones from my iPod.  But I couldn't find my iPod ? until I remembered where I last saw it.  In the pocket of my gray hoodie. The same hoodie that was now swimming in the soapy brine of my washing machine.  When I fished it out, it was thoroughly soaked.  Apparently, when you submerge an iPod in cold sudsy water for 10 minutes, it dies. .

9 to 5 and twice on Wednesdays 9 to 5 (Matinee), As you've undoubtedly heard, the classic 80s comedy 9 to 5 is coming to Broadway with all new songs by the one .&.only Dolly Parton. Movie-to-stage musicals are all the rage these days (it used to be the other way 'round) largely because they're critic proof and to some extent even word-of-mouth proof. When you're charging $100.ket for a show you can't afford to produce anything that isn't already a known quantity and easily saleable in advance. If I sound cynical well, I love.

Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 musical coming to Broadway One of Dolly Parton's most memorable performances has to be in the movie 9 to 5, well now the iconic movie is to be made into a musical. Parton will not be reviving her role on Broadway, but she has penned 20 new songs for the show. 9 to 5: The Musical will hit Broadway on April 32, 2009 at the Marriott Marquis Theatre. Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton will not be staring in Broadway, that job goes to Stephanie J. Block, Emmy Award-winning actress Allison Janney and Megan Hilty. Ahmanson Theatre.

Because Working 7-3 Just Doesn't Sound The Same It's The Real Dolly, Not A Wax Figure  Well, it's offical.  9 to 5 is coming to Broadway starting in April 2009!  Will we see it?  Most likely not.  Why are we reporting on it?  Because Dolly's figure is still banging and set off feelings a normal 5 year old boy should not feel.
