Music Fest Northwest Update Bend, So I'm still alive, sort of.  It's been grueling going to shows and work and pretending to maintain this whole blog thing.  I should, when time allows tomorrow morning, have some awesome video for you guys.  Over the past two days I've caught some great bands and made some nice discoveries. Xiu Xiu and a bunch of bands that made my head hurt, Pike Room, Pontiac, September 2 I wasn't really surprised to find that the Xiu Xiu show on Tuesday night was moved from the large Crofoot Ballroom to the much smaller Pike Room. First, it was a Tuesday?worst day for a concert or for anything fun ever. Second, Xiu Xiu is one of the most unlikely bands to bring people out of their comfortable houses.
